Overview

This HDMI EDID emulator is a handy troubleshooting device for distributed HDMI systems where Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) requires emulating or replacing. Many HDMI equipped products use specialised EDID configurations which can cause signal problems when distributing through splitters and extenders. This is quite common on Windows 7 & Samsung devices. This feeder allows you to read, modify and rewrite the EDID portion of the HDMI signal, permitting your monitor to work with the source device regardless of signal splitters, switchers or distribution. HDCP encryption is passed through. Includes a USB lead for powering from your TV/source or M 8892 USB mains adaptor (sold separately)

EDID problems are a common cause of HDMI devices refusing to operate with each other. This handy product helps to eliminate EDID related signal issues.

We offer 12 months warranty on this product from its date of purchase. This is available from Altronics stores, online purchases or Altronics resellers. In accordance with our full warranty terms we will repair, replace or refund if goods you have purchased from us are defective.

Not withstanding our warranty policy, if you are dissatisfied with our goods or service you may return the goods within 14 days of our despatch date. Simply contact us for a return authorisation number and we will refund your purchase in full, less transport costs on receipt of goods.
