Overview

The A4489 zone relay unit has been designed to switch either low level inputs or amplifier outputs. This is selected by the user as required. Suits for line level or 100V line zone switching. The A4489 is powered via the supplied M8968B 24V dc plug pack
A maximum of two A4488 paging consoles can be connected to the A 4489 Audio Switcher at the same time. These work in a “first in, best dressed” arrangement. Each unit must be assigned an ID number through DIP switch settings on the rear of the unit.
The A4489 Audio Switcher provides a Microphone level or Line level output which can be connected directly to the inputs of up to four amplifiers to provide up to four zones of audio. Connection between the A4488 and A4489 is via a Cat5e cable which carries power and the balanced audio output from the microphone.

We offer 10 years warranty on this product from its date of purchase. This is available from Altronics stores, online purchases or Altronics resellers. In accordance with our full warranty terms we will repair, replace or refund if goods you have purchased from us are defective.
