The Redback® A 4944 provides a convenient way to send line level RCA audio signals over long distances via Cat5/6 cabling. The unit has DIP switch selectable input sensitivities of 100mV and 1V to handle inputs of varying levels.

Overview

This stereo RCA UTP transmitter sends signals to compatible Redback UTP solutions receivers. It converts a stereo RCA signal to an RJ45 connection suitable for transmission over Cat5/6 UTP cabling. The input level is DIP switch selectable, and the input volume is screwdriver adjusted via the trimpot on the front of the unit. The unit is powered from 24V DC, which can be connected to the DC socket on the rear, or it can be supplied through the Cat5/6 cabling from other compatible Redback products (see connection matrix).

The Redback® A 4944 can be connected to compatible Redback® products such as the A 4946.

We offer 10 Years warranty on this product from its date of purchase. This is available from Altronics stores, online purchases or Altronics resellers. In accordance with our full warranty terms we will repair, replace or refund if goods you have purchased from us are defective.

Simply contact us for a return authorisation number and we will refund your purchase in full, less transport costs on receipt of goods.
