Paging Systems

This unit is a very versatile cost effective public address/background music control system which provides audio to up to 16 zones. Backgound music which can be selected to play through any zone is muted when general paging occurs or when an evacuation input overrides the system.

This paging console is designed to provide general paging to zones when connected to a variety of Redback products. It provides a visual indication of the status of all audio sources and zones within the system at a glance, sharing a common screen with the master wallplates available for use with these systems.

The Redback Communicator is a paging system controller utilising the latest microprocessor circuitry that allows for both 100V line level or low level balanced line signals to be switched. Incredibly flexible and expandable, the Redback communicator is the result of many years development with direct feedback from pro sound contractors.

The A4469 zone relay unit may be installed remotely and has been designed to switch either low level inputs or amplifier outputs and interfaces our A4660A paging console with existing PA systems.

Designed for systems that use a large number of Redback C0325/6 mics such as supermarkets and hardware stores. This design is very unique in that it allows you to install unlimited PTT mics on a single circuit, but only allow one mic at a time to operate. Suits A 4962.

Provides a microphone or line level output which can be connected directly to the input of an amplifier. Connection between the A 4660A paging console and this unit is via a Cat5e cable which carries power and the balanced audio output from the microphone.

This paging controller is the heart of the system where all commands are initiated. It provides zone PA selection, multi-zone recall, background music (BGM) selection and do not disturb settings.

The zone decoder provides a way to interface traditional stereo and 100V line PA systems with the Merlaud IP communicator system.

The zone encoder is a 19" rack mount audio encoder which works in conjunction with the Merlaud A4868 touchscreen paging console.

This unit has three modes of operation, determined by DIP switches, which include an Audio Delay, a Microphone Recorder and an Audio Recorder.
