A USB 3.0 active extension cable designed to achieve distances up to 5m with high speed 4.8Gbps USB 3.0 connection. Ideal for connecting USB 3.0 peripherals such as external drives in server racks etc, where 3m USB 3.0 leads may not be long enough. Up to three units can be daisy chained together for a maximum length of 15m. For high current USB bus requirements users can add our recommended plug pack with a 1.35mm Plug Adapter (both are listed in accessories below). Powered via USB bus but has provision for a plug pack should a device have insufficient current.
