Overview

This handy cable tester with PoE function allows you to test live ethernet cabling and determine power and data connectivity. The tester is 802.3af/at Power Over Ethernet (PoE) compatible and connects to an RJ45 terminated cable (or socket when used with a suitable patch lead). It’s also capable of determining midspan or end span power sources in the network design. Perfect for installers working with IP telephony, CCTV equipment and other PoE capable devices. The remote unit included connects to terminated patch leads, RJ11/45 telephone cabling, LAN wiring or sockets and tests continuity, open/short and cross wiring.

Note: Requires 1 x 9V batteries (sold separately - S4970B)
