Overview

Mobile monitoring is available, with push video event notification via AVTech’s ‘EagleEyes’ remote monitoring app for Android or iOS devices. Smart recording function automatically adjusts the video resolution to optimise the recording efficiency. Supports a single SATA drive up to 4TB. eSATA interface allows connection to external array for even greater storage. Recording can be continuous, manually activated or triggered by an event - such as motion detection (requires IP cameras to be equipped with this feature). Includes power supply. Hard drives sold separately.

NOTE: Resolution and images per second (IPS) are highly dependant on camera quality & chosen settings.

  • Hi, just installed a firmware update for AVH308EA and it seems to not work after reboot. How do i revert back to original firmware? Cheers

    hello. Did you have any problems with the DVR before you attempted the update? Did the system stall on H.264 boot screen on start up or any other anomalous behaviour. If yes, then it is possible, even likely, that you system has been hacked and used as a springboard for other nefarious hacking. You will have to follow this procedure: There has been instances where customer’s DVRs/NVRs may have been hacked if they have not changed the default password or have used a very weak password such as 0000,1111,1234, etc… Hacking will cause the DVR/NVR to shut down and not reboot. A safety feature I would say.
