Overview

This stand-alone stereo valve preamplifier is based on the Currawong amplifier (K 5528) but has a new power supply which runs off low voltage DC. It has very good performance, especially for a valve preamplifier, with low distortion and a very high signal to noise ratio of 105dB. Its easy to build too, with the preamp and power supply all on one printed circuit board. It comes with a 12V DC 1A plug pack included.
A clear acrylic friction fit box is available to suit, sold separately (K5193)
