Overview
This 160W flexible solar panel is ideal for permanent installation in low voltage power backup solutions on boats, caravans, yachts, RVs and 4WDs. Ensures you have power where ever you go on your next adventure. An excellent backup power source thats not only lightweight making life easier on your adventures but also has a long lifespan. Utilises ETFE composite lamination (not PVC - see note below). Backed by a 10 year product warranty for certified installations.
8mm thickness EPDM rubber edging.
Provides a lightweight bendable edge protection for the panel. The flexibility of this panel enables installation on curved surfaces. Installation via high bond double sided adhesive tape or adhesive sealant provides a low profile secure bond.
Flexible yet incredibly strong.
Made with a Patent Pending composite material similar to those used in airplane windows. These panels are approved by the Clean Energy Council for grid connection in residential and commercial applications yet they don't have a heavy, rigid frame or glass.
Designed for Australian conditions
Locally designed by solar specialists with materials to counteract the powerful Australian sun (see buying note below about cheaper PVC panels).
Buying Note:
Customers should be aware that flexible panels are typically made from two different materials, PVC and ETFE composite. The PVC models available on the market typically suffer from premature failure due to heat stress causing discolouration and cracking in the laminate material.
This flexible panel utilises ETFE composite lamination for superior durability. It also allows the use of a higher efficiency 156mm solar cell, compared with the 125mm available on most panels. It is backed by a 10 year product warranty for certified installations.

We offer 10 years warranty on this product from its date of purchase. This is available from Altronics stores, online purchases or Altronics resellers. In accordance with our full warranty terms we will repair, replace or refund if goods you have purchased from us are defective.

Not withstanding our warranty policy, if you are dissatisfied with our goods or service you may return the goods within 14 days of our despatch date. Simply contact us for a return authorisation number and we will refund your purchase in full, less transport costs on receipt of goods. All returned goods must be in as sold condition including all packaging, instructions, invoices etc.
