These stand alone digital video recorders form the core of a typical surveillance system providing switching, triggering, recording & playback functions. They accept 4, 8 or 16 camera inputs which can be individually recorded to an internal hard drive (available separately) & played back (or viewed live on screen). Individual channels can be tailored to suit the installation with settings such as brightness, contrast, saturation, hue & gain, all fully adjustable. Motion detecting areas can be easily set up for all channels.

Its full pentaplex functionality allows recording, playback, backup, live viewing and review of archived footage (locally or remote) all at once. No longer is it necessary to stop recording while footage playback is happening.

Recording can be triggered via external contacts such as alarms, infra red sensors etc. or alternatively scheduled recording or full time recording is available. Live viewing & recorded footage can be played back on the monitor in full screen or in quad mode (all channels at once). You can even monitor cameras via a handy picture-in-picture mode.

Recording time is dependant on hard disk space & number of cameras. A maximum of 400fps recording is achievable across all cameras. When fitted with 2 x 1Tb hard disks this DVR could record between 25 to 75 days footage depending upon picture quality and frame rate settings. The DVD-RW facility allows footage archiving or backup.

Remote access is possible via an in-built Ethernet port. Correctly configured, this allows users to log in from remote locations & control the surveillance systems features (such as camera pan/tilt/zoom functions, footage playback etc.) & view live feed. Software is Windows Vista/7 compatible.

Dimensions: 432W x 326D x 90Hmm.

NOTE:
Installations of CCTV systems can vary greatly in configuration and technical complexity. We recommend that unless you have skills in computer networking that you engage a CCTV installer or professional to set up your installation. The process can involve opening router ports, setting up IP routes etc which can be daunting for a beginner. Every installation is different, as a result, it can be difficult to diagnose set up issues over the phone or via email.
